# "No effect when pressing F2"

{% hint style="info" %}
This issue is usually being caused by antivirus programs such as: "Kaspersky", "Avast", "Dr.Web", "AntiMalwarebytes", and others. Disabling the antivirus does not help because the application isolates the cores at the PC startup. You need to find the program that isolated the cores; this could be anything from an antivirus and a crypto wallet to a NexusMods installer. Pay attention to any unusual running programs that may somehow affect on Windows Security.
{% endhint %}

1. Open the Core Isolation settings in Windows 10/11 (you can find it in the "Windows Security folder")

2. Disable the "Memory Integrity" feature in the "Core Isolation" tab<br>

3. Completely <mark style="color:red;">uninstall</mark> any third-party antivirus software: "Kaspersky," "Avast," "Avira," "360 Total Security," "Dr.Web," "Avast", "Eset32".

4. Restart your PC and try again

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://uc-genie.gitbook.io/guide/injection-errors-faq/no-effect-when-pressing-f2.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
